The heavily anticipated, toddler playgroup in Bozeman is finally here! Starting April 27th. Play Therapist and Parenting Guru, Chelsea Vail, will host nature based playgroups for ages 18months to 6 years old. This is the first "epoch" as described by Rudolf Steiner, the founder of Waldorf education, and is a great opportunity to meet other like-minded mamas, let the kids explore freely, and pick the brain of an early childhood specialist at the same time! BYOB in this scenario means bring your own baby. Worn babies or strolling babies are welcome; however, the activities are designed for those living in the hands realm of DOING things physically.
Dress for MESS! Your toddler or preschooler will leave here covered in paint, clay, mud, water, and you might as well so dress accordingly!
Outside play supports the internal rhythm of the developing child. The physiological changes occurring in their body align with the cycles of the sun and moon as well as the seasons of the natural world. We will be playing and exploring freely among the elements of fire, earth, air and water and therefore mirroring the unique temperaments of the children gracing us with their wise presence each day!
